The Craft

Each table is turned and finished by hand in our Sydney workshop.

Unlike a factory finish, the pine surface is wire-brushed by hand to lift the grain before painting, allowing the natural texture of the timber to show through the colour rather than sitting flat underneath it.

The scalloped edge is shaped one curve at a time, giving every tabletop its own subtle rhythm and texture. The tripod base is hand-turned for a sculptural silhouette that looks beautiful on its own or alongside a chair or sofa.

The base is joined using traditional dovetail joinery — the same technique we use across our furniture, built for strength and longevity no matter the price point.

For our Timber finish, we hand-apply an Antique Walnut stain to bring out a dark, vintage character while allowing the natural grain of the timber to remain the star.

Prefer a pop of colour? Our hand-painted finishes — Medieval, Irish Linen, and Olive Grove — are built up over the same raised grain, so the timber's texture still shows through the colour rather than sitting flat underneath it.
